HGV HIAB Driver

Role Overview

• Carrying out safe and efficient deliveries of patio materials using a Class 2 vehicle fitted with a HIAB.
• Once deliveries are complete, you will assist loading stock and preparing vehicles for the next day's runs.
• 07:30 am start – 16:30 pm finish.
• This role is ideal for someone reliable, professional and confident working both independently on the road and as part of a small yard team.

Part‑time role working Tuesdays and Thursdays, with potential to increase to 3 days per week as the workload grows.

• Operating a Class 2 HIAB vehicle for customer deliveries.
• Ensuring safe loading/unloading of materials at each drop.
• Providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Returning to the yard and assisting with general duties, including preparing loads for the next day.
• Following all transport legislation, safety rules, and company procedures.

• Valid, in‑date ALLMI or ITSSAR HIAB licence, brick‑grab, hook and remote.
• Valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Minimum 12 months' HGV experience (essential).
• Good knowledge of road safety and professional driving standards.
• Reliability and a positive, team‑focused attitude.
