Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of Royal Mail at their busy Exeter Distribution Centre — and we’re looking for professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers who want strong pay, straightforward work, and flexibility that genuinely works for them.

If you’re after depot-to-depot trunking with no multi-drop and minimal heavy lifting, this is proper driving in modern, well-maintained vehicles.

• Trunking mail and parcels between Royal Mail depots nationwide
• No multi-drop work
• Minimal manual handling
• Operating Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
• Complying with Drivers’ Hours & WTD regulations
• Completing digital tachograph records accurately
• Representing a nationally trusted brand

With start times available 00:01 – 23:59 and a range of shift lengths, you can choose what works best for you. All shifts are scheduled one week in advance, with ongoing, year-round opportunities available.

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 2 years
• Minimum 180 days’ proven commercial driving experience (insurance requirement)
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card essential
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN/CD/TT endorsements)
• Professional attitude & strong geographical knowledge
• Ability to pass a DBS security check
• Successful completion of site assessment & induction

This is ongoing agency work offering flexibility, choice, and excellent hourly rates — without being tied into a permanent contract.
