Van Delivery Driver

FTS Group has an Fantastic opportunity to be part of the launch of a new depot with a very reputable company. Working with one of the largest British furniture retailers in the Country that continues to grow year on year we are excited to be recruiting a team of Van drivers for a full time vacancy starting as soon as possible for the opening of a brand new depot.

All vehicles are 3.5ton Vans . You will be delivering home furnishings to residential properties.

Job Details:

• Hourly rate : 12.75 per hour, overtime 19.13 per hour after 48hours per week - Pay is fortnightly on set pay days.
• Minimum pay : 9 hours
• Start time : 05:00-07:00 AM
• Shift duration : 10 - 12 hours
• Shift pattern: Wednesday to Sunday - Does include weekends!

Duties

• Will be working as a home delivery team, going out as part of a 2 man crew
• Delivering beds, sofa, wardrobes which will involve installations such as fitting feet, putting doors on etc.
• MUST be ok with handball and heavy lifting
• Number of drops:
  Generally between 13-17 drops per day - within a radius of Allington.
• Training:
  Induction and company training provided

Requirements:

• Strictly no umbrellas companies. PAYE
• Temp to perm with an ASAP start
• Minimum of 6 months UK experience in a Van
• Driving licence must not exceed 6 points (no DD,CD, IN10, MS50, UT50 or DR1)
