Applicants need a valid Class 2 licence, ADR certification, and experience with cylinder handling. Customer service skills are essential for maintaining professional interactions. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 42.5 hours, contributing to the higher hourly rate.

Job Responsibilities
  • Safely operate Class 2 vehicles to transport gas cylinders to various locations across the region.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of cylinders, maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and securing of gas cylinders.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist with loading and unloading cylinders, ensuring safe handling at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
Required Skills andamp;
Qualifications
  • Valid UK Category C (Class
    2) driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Current CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • ADR Tanks andamp;
    Packages Knowledge of UK road regulations and safety standards related to the transportation of hazardous materials.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
  • Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
  • Physical fitness and manual handling skills suitable for loading and unloading cylinders.
