C+E Driver (Plant Machinery Delivery & Collection)
South West Region | £17.65 per hour PAYE Advanced | Immediate Start Available
We are currently recruiting for an experienced C+E Driver to join a busy and growing operation delivering and collecting rental plant machinery throughout the South West.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled driver looking for a varied role where no two days are the same. You will be operating a beaver tail flatbed truck, sometimes towing a trailer, delivering equipment to construction sites, contractors, and commercial customers across the region.
The Role- Delivery and collection of rental plant machinery
- Operating a beaver tail flatbed vehicle, with occasional trailer work
- Loading, securing, transporting and unloading equipment safely
- Delivering to construction sites and customer premises throughout the South West
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork
- Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
- Monday to Friday
- Start time: 7:30am
- 42.5 hours per week
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Minimum 2 years' C+E driving experience
- Maximum of 6 penalty points for speeding offences only
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
Strong customer service skills and professional attitude
- Previous plant machinery experience
- Experience using trailers
Plant experience is preferred; however, full training can be provided for suitable candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
