Van Driver

Exeter, Devon
Temporary to Permanent
gap personnel are recruiting for a Van Driver (3.5t) to join a dedicated service team in Exeter, Devon. This is a hands on, rewarding role that makes a real difference to people’s lives by providing essential healthcare equipment to support independent living.
You’ll be responsible for the delivery, installation, collection, servicing, and repairof community equipment in people’s homes, care homes, schools, and hospitals across Devon. Equipment ranges from walking frames and crutches to hoists, beds, and pressure care products. You will also carry outminor home adaptationssuch as installing handrails and grab rails.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, butfull training will be provided
- Full UK driving licence(held for at least 2 years, no more than 6 points)
- Ability toload and unload goods– some items may be heavy
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- BasicDIY skills(advantageous for home adaptations)
- Previousvan driving experience beneficial
- Flexibility to be part of asame day and out-of-hours rota, including some weekend cover
