This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.

Summary Of RoleThe Warehouse Operative is responsible for carrying out any role required of them within the warehouse environment. This can range from picking and packing of orders within the automated system, the medical bulk area, the fridge area and secure areas, whilst if required, carrying out roles within the transport environment. They are responsible for the overall processing of the customer orders efficiently and at the agreed company rate.
Key Responsibilities Operating Standards- Accurately assemble items from the pick documentation and ensure that the quantity picked is accurate.
- Take special care to avoid damage and use the appropriate bin/packaging – all damages must be reported to the line team leader.
- Report any pick face errors to the line team leaders immediately.
- Report any visible errors within the warehouse environment to line team leaders immediately.
- Inform the line team leader if there is a problem with a particular line or area.
- Hospital orders are assembled in the same way but must be given to the hospital checker to ensure accuracy.
- Special check orders are assembled in the same way but must be given to the special checker to ensure accuracy.
- Medical Bulk orders, Fridge orders & Secure area orders must be picked in the same way, however each has specific criteria that will be covered through training.
- Respond to any errors immediately.
- Bring any unusual quantities in the picking process to the attention of the line team leader.
- Report any suspected or actual issues relating to an order to the line team leader.
- Report any issues relating to transport activities to the line team leader.
- Maintain awareness of Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, tidy and free from rubbish at all times.

- Communication – Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.

- Any previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable.
