** Summary of Role:
** We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Exeter on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is a part-time evening role, ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. You will play a key role in ensuring goods are handled, processed and dispatched correctly to support daily operations.
** Responsibilities:
*** Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately for dispatch
* Receive and check incoming deliveries against documentation
* Safely store goods in the correct warehouse locations
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
* Carry out stock checks and report discrepancies
* Use warehouse systems and equipment where required
* Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational targets.
** Skills and Knowledge:
*** Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not essential
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organisational skills
* Basic understanding of health and safety practices
* Good level of physical fitness for manual handling tasks
** Desirable:
*** Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems
* Forklift or other warehouse equipment certification
