IKEA Exeter are looking for a Warehouse Shift Coordinator to join our team. As a Fulfilment Operations Coordinator you’ll be the conductor of logistics, orchestrating the flow of products with precision. Join the adventure and become a part of our warehouse operations.
This is a full‑time, permanent role working nights.
For this role, we are looking for a strong leader who can work amongst a large team, problem‑solve and thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
WHAT WE OFFER- Full Time: 39 hours a week, working 5 days per week including alternate weekends.
- This role has a starting salary of £30,000 per annum; final offer will be based on skills and experience.
- Additional night shift allowance equivalent to £2.25 per hour.
- Regular shift times will be between the hours of midnight and 10:00am.
NEED TO HAVE
- Previous experience coordinating a team in a warehouse environment is desirable, with the motivation to manage tasks confidently in a demanding environment.
- Ability to prioritize and organise your and others' workloads swiftly and with attention to detail.
- Experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Experience in planning and improving daily operations.
- You lead, motivate and problem‑solve through the IKEA Values – people trust you, and you lead by example in the day‑to‑day.
- Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility in both store and external warehouse – including manual handling of heavy stock, unloading, loading and replenishment of goods/orders within the agreed time with the customer in focus.
- Work with or around heavy machinery, such as forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for customers and co‑workers.
- Responsible for the achievement of the goals determined by the Fulfilment Operations Team Leader to support overall fulfilment operations goals and achieve excellence in running operations.
- Supervise the daily operations and assign areas of responsibility for the team, identifying and acting on improvement potentials and ensuring that daily routines are followed.
