Service Advisor
Location: Exeter
Salary: £32,600 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm or later shift options available, plus Saturdays mornings on rota
Join a busy commercial vehicle dealership as a Service Advisor, delivering excellent customer service while coordinating workshop bookings, repairs and vehicle handovers.
Key Responsibilities of a Service Advisor- Booking customers and accurately recording vehicle faults
- Managing workshop loading and raising job cards
- Keeping customers updated on repair progress and completion times
- Explaining repairs, service requirements and warranty information
- Arranging payments, vehicle handovers and MOT inspections
- Promoting aftersales services and service contracts
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage bookings and prioritise workloads
- Professional approach to handling customer queries and payments
- Experience in a commercial vehicle dealership or workshop environment
- Knowledge of vehicle servicing, repairs and MOT requirements
