Part-Time Tutor

Tutors Required (EOTAS - Exmouth, Devon)

Quantum Scholars are seeking qualified teachers (QTS) and experienced tutors to deliver 1-to-1 tuition across Exmouth and the surrounding areas of Devon.

This work supports pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education, with tuition delivered either on school sites or off-site in non-educational settings.

This role is ideal for teachers looking for a flexible, part-time alternative to mainstream classroom teaching.

⚠️ Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

1-to-1 tutoring across Exeter and the wider Devon area.

Delivery may take place on school sites or off-site in community or non-educational settings.

Pupils may present with a range of needs, including autism, behavioural challenges, SEMH, anxiety, or school refusal.

Part‑time, flexible hours depending on pupil and placement needs.

• Qualified Teacher Status preferred, or strong tutoring experience
• Enhanced DBS (Update Service desirable)
• Ability to travel locally within Exmouth/Devon
• Experience working with pupils with autism, behavioural needs, SEMH, or alternative provision backgrounds is highly desirable
• Calm, adaptable, and relationship‑focused teaching approach

Rate dependent on experience and qualifications.
