About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting pupils on one of our 9‑seater school minibuses, providing a calm, safe, and welcoming environment on every journey. In addition to the daily routes, there may be opportunities for additional paid hours supporting school trips, visits, and sporting events.

Hours:

20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Contract:

Permanent, term‑time only.

Start date:

Tuesday 1 September 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport pupils safely on scheduled routes.
  • Provide a calm, safe, and welcoming environment for each journey.
  • Support additional paid hours for school trips, visits, and sporting events.
Key Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and friendly manner with children and staff.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
  • Sound knowledge of driving health and safety.
  • Positive attitude and understanding of working in a school environment.
  • PCV (CPC) qualification advantageous but not essential.

Drivers are expected to wear a uniform and maintain the highest standards of driving, appearance, and professional conduct while operating liveried school vehicles.
