Wealth Management, Financial Advisor / Consultant
William Highbourne Wealth Management is a Chartered wealth management firm in East Devon, and I am running a retained search on their behalf for an employed Financial Adviser to take on an established book of existing clients from day one. No self generation required.
This is the seat most advisers say they want and rarely get: a bank of long standing relationships handed over in good order, a firm that removes the paperwork so you can advise, and a pay structure that rewards you from the first pound rather than after a hurdle.
What you walk intoAn established book of existing clients, handed over in full, with a structured twelve month plan to meet every household. New enquiries come to you from the firm's own marketing, so your job is to advise and build relationships, not to prospect. Administration and paraplanning support is being built around the adviser team so that report writing and processing sit away from your desk.
You will work with two principals who are hands on, technically strong and Chartered, in a firm built on trust with its clients.
Basic salary of £60,000, employed, full time, permanent. 25% of initial fees from the first pound, with no hurdle to clear. Realistic earnings of around £82,000 in year one, rising to £100,000 or more by year three as the bank grows. Basic salary progression tied to the recurring income you look after, reviewed upward only. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Car allowance of £400 a month. 5% pension. Death in service at six times salary. Employee benefits platform. All exam and Chartered progression costs paid. Flexible working, anchored to the Woodbury office near Exeter, M5 junction 30.
Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent, and you must currently hold Competent Adviser Status. Experience of advising your own clients in a regulated environment, ideally in an IFA or wealth management setting. A commitment to progressing to Chartered, which the firm funds. Based within a realistic commute of East Devon, or willing to relocate.
Not requiredTransferable clients or assets. Chartered status on day one. A track record of self generation.
