Senior Care Assistant - Care Home - Bank

About The Role

This is a casual, part‑time position offering flexible working. As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will look after the varied needs of our residents to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support. Your responsibilities include supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, and supporting the clinical team in a specific area such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.

You will always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents and help create a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.

You should hold an NVQ Level 3 or an Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, and have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We are looking for warm‑hearted, compassionate individuals committed to giving each resident individualized care and support. You will have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training; many of our Senior Care Assistants progress into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
