37 hours per week, over 7 days, to include Saturdays and Sundays
£25,760 per annum

About the Role

Having Retail/Management experience? Are you looking for a new challenge in 2026?

We are looking for a Shop Manager to lead our team in the Exmouth shop. You will work in a creative environment, managing donated goods to maximize sales and net contribution. Your role will have a direct impact on supporting the frontline work that helps young people in England.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the shop team and oversee daily operations in the Exmouth location.
  • Maximize sales and net contribution through effective management of donated goods.
  • Drive revenue generation, ensuring the shop meets its financial targets.
  • Recruit, train and motivate a diverse volunteer team alongside an Assistant Shop Manager.
  • Build strong relationships with the local community by promoting the shop and encouraging support.
  • Create a welcoming, inclusive environment for staff, volunteers and shoppers.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Prior Retail or Management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both internal and external.
  • Strong leadership, people‑management and motivation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and protecting children and young people.
