West Chester Area School District seeks to increase our substitute custodial resource pool. The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skill and/or ability necessary.

• High School diploma or equivalent is necessary
• Possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with teachers, administrators, parents, students, support staff and outside contacts.

• Perform various tasks in buildings where assigned.
• Perform replacement custodial duties for absent custodians:
• Empty trash into larger container
• Dust top and flat surfaces
• Empty pencil sharpeners
• Clean chalk/dry marker boards
• Dust mop and vacuum floors
• Wet mop floors
• Dump trash from large container into dumpster
• Ability to use all custodial equipment
