Summer Student Support Specialists - West Chester School Districts

At the present time, vacancies exist for Summer Student Support Specialists within the 21st Century Community Learning Center Program, Student Services Division of the CCIU. These positions are temporary for the duration of the summer ONLY.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in related field required
- Experience working with bilingual/bicultural students preferred
- Experience working with the applicable age group preferred
- Must have Act 33 and 34 clearances and federal criminal history background check (available through CCIU upon hire)
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Plan and implement daily lessons related to student needs
- Provide an engaging environment designed to meet the needs of students
- Implement behavior management strategies that are developmentally appropriate
- Plan and implement a daily learning schedule that includes:
- Physical movement
- Social and emotional learning
- Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) activities
- Maintain student attendance and participation data

June 22nd - July 16th
Mon - Thurs, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Student Hours - 9:30 am - 2:30 pm)
No program on Fridays
Training Dates:
Week of June 15th (Dates TBD)
Project Band 13: $30.70 - $38.42 per hour
Placement on scale commensurate with years of experience in a relevant position
