Responsibilities- Facilitate an engaging classroom atmosphere that fosters student growth and deepens their technical proficiency in electrical theory.
- Deliver high-impact, hands-on demonstrations to ensure students gain practical competence in system diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
- Partner with academic leadership to refine and modernize course materials, ensuring curriculum remains aligned with current industry advancements.
- Provide personalized mentorship to students, encouraging critical thinking and creative problem-solving on complex technical projects.
- Cultivate a culture of safety by consistently modeling and enforcing industry-standard best practices in all lab environments.
- Execute precise technical instruction covering power distribution, branch circuit wiring, and conduit bending techniques.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience in the electrical trade.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting single-phase and multi-phase commercial electrical systems.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse learners.
- Demonstrated patience and an empathetic approach to supporting individual student development.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Journeyman or Master Electrician licensure.
- Active NCCER Certified Instructor status.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
- Prior experience in technical training or professional development.
