This position serves as the overall Project Leader for the jobs in which they are involved. Responsibilities include project setup, contract execution and compliance, material procurement, progress tracking, safety compliance, invoice approval, scheduling, cost forecasting, and overall fiscal responsibility.
Specific Responsibilities- Contract and scope review and execution
- Job cost spread and estimate review
- Project sequencing and scheduling
- Invoice coding and approval
- Coordination with GC/Owner
- Coordination with CSI Operations Manager regarding manpower/resources
- Mentoring Project Managers and Project Engineers
- Providing feedback to upper management on procedures and policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication, reporting, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Effective planning, controlling, motivating, and developing subordinates
- Detail‑oriented, quality‑focused, and continuously seeks improvements
- Financial acumen: cost projection, budget adjustment, and profit maximization
- Change leadership, consensus building, and relationship management across departments
- Conflict anticipation and resolution, talent utilization, and goal setting
- Project management of multiple concurrent projects
- 10+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices
- Excellent problem‑solving, adaptable, and collaborative style
- Experience running large self‑perform concrete projects with successful outcomes
- Project setup, budget planning, buy‑out, and cost reporting experience required
- Exceptional understanding of critical‑path scheduling for self‑perform work
- Leadership experience with employee development and external relationship management
- Strong sense of urgency, high energy, and self‑motivation
- Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and use multi‑floor scaffolding
