About

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in a multi‑level storage environment at our Pottstown location. This role requires recent, consecutive forklift experience with sit‑down and reach truck equipment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage inventory with accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Operate sit‑down and reach truck forklifts to load, unload, pick, stage, and put away materials.
  • Work in a multi‑level warehouse with high racking and controlled product movement.
  • Use RF scanners for real‑time inventory, pallet verification, and documentation.
  • Support inbound/outbound shipments, staging, wrapping, and load preparation.
  • Complete daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues.
  • Use Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams for basic documentation and communication.
  • Follow OSHA, PPE, GMP, and food safety standards (training provided as needed).
  • Maintain warehouse organization, FIFO rotation, and proper storage practices.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of recent, consecutive forklift experience (required; verifiable).
  • Proficient with both sit‑down and reach truck forklifts.
  • Experience operating in multi‑level warehouses with high racking.
  • RF Scanner Experience Required.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
  • Must pass a road test and obtain TFSI onsite certification prior to independent operation.
Preferred
  • Food manufacturing or food distribution experience (GMP/HACCP background beneficial).
Physical Requirements

Lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs. regularly; heavier loads with assistance. Climb in/out of forklifts; stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift. Work around moving equipment, fluctuating temperatures, and warehouse noise.

Work Environment

Standard warehouse hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime during operational demands, inventory cycles, or special projects. Occasional travel between company sites may be required.

Certification

All candidates will be road tested and must meet TFSI forklift certification requirements prior to equipment operation.
