1st shift Assembler

Pump Assembler / Fabricator Job Details:

4/10 Schedule

• Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday
• 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

• 4-day work week with 3-day weekends
• First-shift schedule
• Hands-on work with welding, fabrication, assembly, and heavy equipment
• Opportunity to develop a variety of mechanical and manufacturing skills
• Team-oriented shop environment

• Assemble industrial pumps and related equipment following specifications and standard operating procedures
• Install and align moving components including shafts, bearings, gears, and drive couplings
• Fabricate metal structures, base plates, and coupling guards through cutting, sawing, welding, and grinding
• Drill, tap, and ream holes for assembly and fabrication projects
• Align and assemble components to close tolerances
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment safely
• Assist in various areas of the manufacturing shop as needed

• Mechanical assembly, fabrication, welding, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow specifications and work instructions
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to safely lift and move materials in a manufacturing environment
