• Greets residents to the dining experience warmly and promptly
• Accurately takes food and drink orders in the dining room and relays orders to kitchen staff
• Ensures knowledge of the menu and can describe meal options
• Serves food and drink to guests efficiently and courteously
• Ensures resident satisfaction and checks on guests throughout their meal; addresses any concerns
• Assists in the preparation of food
• Sets up dining room as a clean, inviting space
• Assists in cleaning resident eating areas, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Reports any issues or problems that may arise to the Dietary Manager
• Attends in‑services and other required meetings
• Promotes and exemplifies the Priority Life Care mission and values at all times

• High School diploma or equivalent; serving experience preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a long‑term care or hospital setting preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
