We are hiring Daytime Hosts at The Pour House in Exton, PA. The role supports a high-volume setting and provides friendly, attentive guest service to ensure a positive guest experience.

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
• Open the front door for guests entering and leaving the restaurant when possible.
• Record guest names and party size when immediate seating is limited.
• Provide guests with estimated waiting times.
• Call out name and party number when tables become available.
• Seat guests based on preferences when possible and balance customer flow in service stations.
• Offer guests a menu and inform them of their server’s name; inspect the table for proper presentation and completeness.
• Relay messages to servers and bussers as needed.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Maintain a clean and organized hostess station and front-of-house areas.
• Ensure the entrance area and restrooms are clean and stocked; monitor supplies as directed.
• Utilize POS and scheduling systems (Hot Schedules) for accurate data entry and team communication.
• Read management messages in Hot Schedules before each shift and follow important information for the next shift.

• No previous restaurant experience required
• A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to warmly welcome guests
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 5 hours)
• Must be available for daytime hours
