DescriptionThe Customer Service Repair Administrator is responsible for the research and administration of customer work order requirements and repair station work packages.
Responsibilities- Generate repair quotes for aircraft component repairs and upgrades and forward quotes to customers for approval.
- Review customer purchase orders to determine proper due dates, repair actions, and any customer specific instructions relating to individual units.
- Interact with customers via phone, fax, email, to support status requests, pricing quotes, product exchanges/loaners, and customer questions.
- Track repair units within the company and ensure that the work orders are prioritized according to the proper guidelines.
- Perform incoming visual receiving inspections of repairable units.
- Interact with customers to minimize any issues or concerns with customer claims, warranty status, pricing, etc.
- Create and close out work orders in the MRP system.
- Complete component repair records administration, record retention and archiving.
- Research aircraft component history and generate repair work packages.
- Maintain component repair records in serial number and repair databases.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of Aviation experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A logical way of thinking that facilitates organization of required repair elements.
- Ability to process large volumes of data.
- Acute attention to detail.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- Work on your own initiative and continually seek improvements.
- Good problem‑solving skills with the ability to prioritize work as necessary.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to see figures on a computer monitor as well as small print on unit labels.
- Work will be spent largely seated in front of a computer, but may also include standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
