Responsibilities
- Assist with general maintenance and repair work, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry tasks.
- Assist with day-to-day facility needs such as changing light bulbs, painting, moving/arranging rooms for meetings, assembling furniture, office set-ups, snow removal, and landscaping.
- Safely and lawfully operate Citadel maintenance vehicles.
- Assist Mechanics, Lead or Manager in troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues.
- Operate a motor vehicle to transport tools, equipment, and materials to various branch locations.
- Serve as backup for the Mailroom/Supply Coordinator when directed.
- Participate in the on-call rotation (24/7 coverage for one week per month, Saturday–Friday) to support after-hours maintenance needs or emergencies.
- Perform pick-ups and deliveries as needed between credit union facilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide support to the Director and Supervisor as assigned.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Minimum of 8-12 months of related maintenance or facilities experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safe handling and use of common tools.
- Basic familiarity with trades such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and supervisory instructions.
- Assist in performing maintenance and repairs efficiently with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate effectively with mechanics and supervisors to resolve facility issues.
- Represent Citadel professionally when interacting with employees, members, and vendors.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold company standards
- Regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
- May be required to work at heights, in extreme temperatures, or in outdoor conditions (including wet/humid weather).
- Possible exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical shock, vibration, and loud noise.
Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching.
Occasional sitting.
Frequent lifting/moving of up to 10 lbs; occasional lifting/moving of up to 80 lbs.
Must have full range of vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment).
Ability to move between buildings, climb stairs/ladders, and work in challenging or unpleasant conditions.
