• Leading one or more capability development teams for our flagship Systems Tool Kit (STK) product.
• Providing mentorship, coaching, and career guidance to software developers through regular 1-on-1s and team meetings.
• Managing hiring needs, conducting performance appraisals, and supporting the professional growth of your team.
• Collaborating closely with Product Management and Technical Leads to define and execute product roadmaps.
• Ensuring timely releases with agreed-upon feature sets, proactively mitigating schedule slippages and quality issues.
• Coordinating with Quality Assurance and Documentation teams to meet release requirements and maintain high standards of software documentation.
• Enforcing best practices in software development processes, including coding standards, code reviews, configuration management, and unit testing coverage.

• Accelerate the delivery of innovative features and capabilities for the STK product, empowering customers in aerospace, defense, and engineering domains.
• Shape the culture and effectiveness of your team, fostering an inclusive and growth-oriented environment.
• Enhance product quality and reliability, ensuring STK remains a trusted solution for mission-critical applications.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration, aligning development, product management, QA, and documentation towards common goals.
• Champion process improvements and modern engineering practices, strengthening Synopsys’ reputation for technical excellence.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of flagship products, influencing both the roadmap and the customer experience.

• BS in Engineering or Science (Computer Science, Aerospace, or Mathematics preferred) with 8+ years’ experience, MS with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Strong and proven leadership skills in supervising software development teams.
• Broad and deep knowledge of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with commercial software development and lifecycle management.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Product Marketing, QA, and Documentation.
