This is a fantastic opportunity for an English Teacher to join a school with a strong commitment to academic excellence and pupil well-being. Duties as English Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
Teach A Level English if required
Prepare pupils for assessments and examinations
Monitor and report on pupil progress
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and school policies
Ideal English Teacher:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching English at secondary level
Ability to teach A Level English is an advantage
Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
Committed to pupil progress and achievement
Excellent communication and classroom management skills as an English Teacher
Able to work effectively as part of a team
