Support Worker​/Personal Assistant – Eyemouth

An elderly lady living in Eyemouth requires assistance daily to assist with her personal care. The role is to provide personal care including skin care management and showering.

• Hours per week: 2 hours
• Hours of work:
  Daily – times to be discussed with the employer.
• £13.60 per hour.
• Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
• Probationary period of 3 months

• To support client to ensure their safety and well‑being.
• To support with personal care needs including skin care of feet, legs and back.
• To maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the client’s equipment and surroundings.
• To develop a positive relationship with the client and her family.

• Kind and caring, sensitive to the client’s needs.
• Patient and cheerful.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Ability to use your own initiative.
• Ability to work sensitively in a home setting respecting the client and family’s right to privacy and to always maintain professional standards of confidentiality.

Experience is not essential for a candidate with the right personal attributes, but they should be able to show some suitability for the role.
