In this important role, you will provide relief to families by offering in-home support to children with I/DD, allowing parents and caregivers to take a much-needed break.

Position Highlights

Location:

In-home care for children with I/DD in Bergen and/or Passaic Counties.

Employment Type:

Part-Time, with the potential for Full-Time.

Compensation:

$22-25 per hour depending on weekly hours worked

What You’ll Do

Provide in-home care for children with I/DD, offering respite for parents and caregivers.

Engage in fun and enriching activities with children, supporting their emotional and behavioral needs.

Maintain a respectful and supportive relationship with families, providing a safe and comforting environment for the child.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.

Experience working with children or individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required for in-home visits.

Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of children and families.
