Speech Therapy Plus is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a therapeutic team. The therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating children. We are seeking an experienced clinician to work approximately 10 hours per week at a private clinic in Fairlawn, New Jersey. The ideal candidate has experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

As an Occupational Therapist, individuals will be responsible for providing center-based occupational therapy for children with autism while working collaboratively with a team of BCBAs and Behavior Technicians.

$1,500 for Full time and $500 for Part Time

• Providing occupational therapy and training to team members and families.
• Conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and monitoring progress of each child.
• Demonstrate comprehensive evaluation skills and interventions, including evaluating effectiveness and modifying plan of care as appropriate.
• Maintain and complete evaluations, patient records, reports and all written documentation effectively and in a timely manner, in accordance with regulatory and department guidelines.
• Maintain friendly, cordial relationships with all clients and employees.
• Effectively communicate with patients and/or families/significant others, providing education and literature in accordance with the patient’s age, physical condition and cultural needs.
• Adhere to organizational policy with particular attention to standards of conduct and confidentiality as it relates to HIPAA.
• Develop treatment plans by identifying needs, determining long- and short-term goals, and methods to achieve success.
• Provide counseling to parents and offer carryover strategies.
• Work daytime school hours and one evening hour as required.

• Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Experience in pediatrics.
• Ability to counsel parents and provide carryover strategies.

• Part‑time (10 hours per week) with flexibility for 4‑ or 8‑hour shifts.
• Pay: $68.00 - $75.00 per hour.
• Expected hours: 10 per week.
