Production Supervisor

Overview

Production Supervisor role at Winland Foods. Oversees and manages production for all shift employees and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards. Responsible for safe work practices, meeting quality specifications, and following food safety/quality procedures; developing/compliance to standard work procedures; and adherence to production scheduling and staffing requirements. Leads cross-functional collaboration with Processing, Maintenance, Shipping, and Quality to support Daily Operations and achieve customer service and productivity goals.

• Oversees production operations on assigned shift.
• Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly.
• Troubleshoots issues that arise.
• Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems.
• Ensures employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 3 years of leadership in a manufacturing environment (Food/Pharma preferred) or equivalent operating experience in dry pasta manufacturing with proven leadership.
• Must have demonstrated skills with training and developing team members.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
• Excellent supervisory, leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Defense, BRC and OSHA requirements is preferred.
• Ability to manage/resolve conflict is essential.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior exceptional work experience with the company preferred.
