The System Office of Audit and Compliance Services is seeking a Student Auditor to assist the internal audit team with their responsibilities.

The Student Auditor works under general direction. Examples of typical work include: performing follow-up audit procedures, assisting on audits, and assisting with research on audit topics. These activities are accomplished by a combination of:

  • Follow an established written program.
  • Perform account analysis.
  • Review for compliance with relevant policy, procedures, or standards.
  • Identify and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Prepare written summaries that are factual, clear, and concise.
  • Communicate audit results using a variety of methods including email, virtual meeting, and in person.
Minimum Qualifications

Junior or senior level student enrolled in a bachelor's program for accounting, finance, or related field.

Position Details

You must be enrolled in the university system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment; or have been enrolled the preceding semester for six or more credit hours and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester for employment between semesters; and have at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average or approval from the chancellor or the chancellor’s designee.
