We are looking for a passionate and energetic Associate Orthodontist to join Wentz Orthodontics in Fairbanks and North Pole, Alaska. This role offers clinical fellowship, mentoring, a true path‑to‑partnership, and a 4‑day‑per‑week schedule.

About the role

As an Associate Orthodontist, you will be a central member of our practice, accountable for driving practice performance, leading a high‑performing team, and enhancing the patient experience in a collaborative environment. You will work alongside Dr. Todd Wentz, a long‑term resident of Alaska and well‑known in the community.

Key responsibilities
  • Treatment – leading treatment plans and care and delivering an exceptional patient experience
  • Generate value – educating patients on the value of orthodontic treatment and converting potential patients into active treatment
  • Leadership – inspiring and motivating the team as an inspirational leader
  • Community engagement – active participation in community events such as volunteer engagements, speaking opportunities, and networking
  • Contribute – driving continuous improvement and finding opportunities to enhance and refine systems and processes
  • Collaborate – fostering a collaborative practice environment and partnering with peers across the Corus network
Qualifications
  • Certified Specialist in Orthodontics
  • 2+ years of experience with a desire for partnership in a reputable practice
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build strong relationships
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong decision‑making skills
  • Detail‑oriented, able to work both strategically and tactically
  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
