Pediatric Hospitalist Physician Opportunity

Fairbanks, Alaska | $5,222 per 24-hour shift | No State Income or Sales Tax

Join a collaborative, tight-knit Pediatric Hospitalist team in Alaska's "Golden Heart City." We are seeking a full-time, permanent Pediatric Hospitalist physician dedicated to community-based care.

Must relocate and reside locally. No block scheduling and no commuting options are available; candidates wishing to travel in for shifts will not be considered.

• Schedule: 5-7 scheduled 24-hour shifts per month. Flexible scheduling, but no block shifts.
• 24-Hour Shift Rate: $5,222 per 24-hour shift
• Coverage: Newborn Nursery, Level 2 NICU, high-risk deliveries (~1,100 total deliveries/year), Pediatrics floor, ED/Surgery consults, and transport stabilization.
• Teaching: Attending duties available for those with an interest in teaching rotating residents and medical students.

• Shift Compensation: $5,222 per 24-hour shift
• Signing Bonus: $65,000
• Relocation: Reimbursed based on receipts, with 90 days of temporary housing provided.
• Loan Forgiveness: 501(c)(3) non-profit status (PSLF eligible).
• Perks: $5,000 CME, license/credential reimbursement, and malpractice insurance.
• Benefits: Full health, dental, vision, and 401(k) package.
