Come join our amazing crew at the Wood Center Front Desk — the heartbeat of campus life! We're looking for outgoing, reliable students to help us keep things running smoothly and make campus life awesome.
As a Front Desk Attendant, you'll be doing a little bit of everything — from giving out campus information and managing lost & found to helping students get their game on with pool, ping pong, bowling, and video games. You'll also sell tickets for exciting campus and community events, run the campus switchboard, and stock snacks, drinks, and other essentials for your fellow students.
And the best part? You might even get to help out with some of the biggest events on campus — think concerts, game nights, and other can’t-miss happenings at the Wood Center!
We offer flexible shifts Monday–Sunday between 6:30 AM and Midnight — perfect to work around your class schedule!
Responsibilities- Distribute campus information and manage lost & found.
- Assist students with recreational activities such as pool, ping pong, bowling, and video games.
- Sell tickets for campus and community events and manage ticket sales.
- Operate the campus switchboard and handle phone calls.
- Stock snacks, drinks, and other essentials for students.
- Support large campus events such as concerts, game nights, and other happenings.
- Demonstrate strong reading, writing, speaking, and customer‑service skills.
- Work independently and be self‑motivated with minimal supervision.

- Preferred: prior office or customer‑service experience.
- Enrolled as a UAF student taking at least 6 credits per semester.
- Minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student.
- Successful completion of a background check is required.

- Hourly rate: $14.96.
