Design Alaska is a multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering, and land surveying firm based in Fairbanks, Alaska, dedicated to creating spaces that strengthen our communities. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Land Surveyor for our survey department. Our team is committed to

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Lead and oversee all surveying operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with state and local platting regulations.
• Conduct and manage boundary, topographic, engineering, and residential surveys.
• Serve as the technical expert for land surveying, mentoring a team of surveyors.
• Plan, schedule, and manage projects, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES:
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Currently a licensed land surveyor in the State of Alaska, or ability to become licensed.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS software, and advanced surveying equipment (GPS, Total Stations, LiDAR, drones).
