Salary: $105,000 – $125,000 annually, DOE

Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, In-Person

TDL Staffing is looking for a seasoned Chief Land Surveyor to lead our surveying team in Fairbanks, AK. This leadership role involves directing surveying operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering precise, high-quality results on every project.

• Direct all land surveying activities with a focus on accuracy and adherence to state and local regulations
• Manage boundary, topographic, engineering, and residential surveys from start to finish
• Provide expert guidance and leadership to surveying staff, fostering professional development
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, maintaining excellence and efficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related discipline
• Licensed Land Surveyor in Alaska or eligible to obtain licensure
• Ability to obtain post access (Real )
• Successful completion of a background check
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS software, and use of modern surveying tools such as Total Stations, LiDAR, and drones
