What Laboratory contributes to Cardinal Health
Clinical Care Delivery provides high quality, patient-centered care focused on diagnosing, treating and managing care while ensuring the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of the practice.
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for assisting the Medical Laboratory Scientist at Fairbanks Urology in the lab. They test and analyze body fluids such as blood, urine and tissue samples. They will operate laboratory equipment, such as microscopes and automated cell counters, and use automated equipment that analyzes multiple samples at the same time. In addition, the lab technician records data from medical tests and enters results into a patient s medical record.

- Assist the Laboratory Scientist with running samples and interpreting data
- Other duties as assigned
- 1-3 years of work experience, preferred
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a lab processing human biological specimens or biospecimens, preferred

Anticipated hourly range: $17.60 per hour - $27.72 per hour
