Responsibilities- Perform psychiatric assessments for new patients and provide continuity of care for existing patients in an outpatient setting.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record, adhering to organization policy, procedure, and quality assurance standards. Allocate daily time for lab review, medication renewal, and conferencing with colleagues.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals, including primary care and psychotherapy providers.
- Position is in‑person, Fairbanks, AK
- Full‑time, exempt
- Eligible for up to $25,000 signing bonus based on length of commitment
- Salary range $134,250 to $173,739
- Generous benefits: two healthcare options for employees and dependents; 401(k) with immediate vesting, 5% match, 3% automatic contribution, increasing to 10% match after 3 years.
- PTO: 5 weeks (200 hrs) first year; 8 weeks (320 hrs) from second year. PTO covers holidays (8 outpatient holidays and 2 floating holidays). No weekends, evening shifts, or call required.
- Master’s degree from an accredited school and board certification in psychiatry.
- Unrestricted Alaska Registered Nursing License, Alaska Advanced Practice Registered Nursing License, prescriptive authority, and current DEA certificate.
- Qualified PAs, DOs, and MDs encouraged to apply.
- Preference to candidates with experience in community mental health.
