With a focus on nerve blocks and catheter placements, you will be instrumental in delivering top‑tier anesthesia services for a diverse caseload, including general, hernia, eye, ear, sinus, ortho, and colonoscopy procedures.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to practice independently, perform nerve blocks such as interscalene, supraclavicular, infraclavicular, axillary, TAP, adductor canal, and genicular blocks, as well as place interscalene and adductor canal catheters. Experience with ambulation cases in an outpatient setting and familiarity with a variety of anesthesia techniques are essential. The role involves participating in approximately 2800 procedures annually, with start times at 7:30 AM, requiring early arrival to prepare for cases.

- Active Alaska Medical License; licensing candidates considered
- Proven experience performing nerve blocks and catheter placements
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a team environment
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia protocols and safety procedures
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
- Experience in outpatient or ambulatory surgery centers
- Familiarity with rapid credentialing processes
- Ability to manage a high‑volume caseload and multitask effectively
Education and Experience
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with CRNA certification
- Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia provider experience, preferably in outpatient settings
- Prior experience with primary source verification and credentialing procedures
- Active AK Medical License; client considers licensing candidates
- Willingness to travel or stay in provided accommodations
- Availability for scheduled shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Willingness to work occasional overtime, with time and a half overtime pay applicable
