Travel PACU Registered Nurse (RN) – 16-Week Assignment
Location: Fairbanks, AK
Duration: 16
Weeks
Shift: 3x12 hour days
We are seeking an experienced Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Responsibilities:- Monitor and care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Administer medications and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and PACU staff to ensure safe patient transitions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and standards.
- 2+ years of PACU experience required.
Certifications:
- Active Alaska RN License required
- BLS (AHA) – Basic Life Support
- ACLs (AHA) – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS (AHA) – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Full-time, 13-week contract
