American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 2 years of experience and required Alaska licensure for a 16-week contract requiring call coverage.
Requirements
- Active AK RN license required
- Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required, 5+ years preferred
- New graduates not accepted
- Reliable transportation required
Responsibilities
- Operating Room setting handling General, GYN, Urology, Robotics (Da Vinci), Ortho, Neuro/Spine, Podiatry, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Eyes, and Trauma cases
- 10-hour rotating shifts, Monday through Friday,
- Weekend call required
- Holiday call required
- Mandatory on-call requirement
- Occasional floating to Endo required
- Perform circulating and/or scrub duties across a wide variety of surgical specialties
- Fingerprints must be mailed to the Alaska Department of Health and Services within 48 hours of offer acceptance
- Free 1-bedroom housing available for a single occupant, pets not permitted
- Optional housing allowance available for those who arrange their own housing
- A vehicle is recommended for winter transportation
