American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 16-week day shift contract requiring an active AK RN license and a minimum of 2 years OR experience.

• Operating Room setting within a hospital
• Caseload includes General, GYN, Urology, Robotics (Da Vinci) in Gen/GYN/Urology, Ortho, Neuro/Spine, Podiatry, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Eyes, and Trauma
• Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts rotating Monday through Friday, 07:00-17:30
• Weekend coverage required for call
• Holiday coverage required for call
• Mandatory on-call requirement
• Occasional floating to Endo unit

• Active AK RN license required
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required, 5+ years preferred
• New graduates not accepted
• Reliable transportation required

• Perform circulating and/or scrub duties across a wide range of surgical specialties including robotic-assisted procedures
• Private one-bedroom housing is provided for a single occupant with no pets allowed
• A housing allowance option is available as an alternative to provided housing
• A vehicle is recommended for transportation, as walking in winter conditions is not advised
• Candidates will be required to mail fingerprints to the Alaska Department of Health and Services within 48 hours of offer acceptance
