American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift ICU RN with at least 2 years of ICU experience and an active AK RN license for a hospital recognized with an AACN Gold Beacon Award.

• Work in an AACN Gold Beacon Award-winning Intensive Care Unit
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Requires 3 weekend shifts per schedule period
• Holiday coverage required
• Floating required to other units as a functional nurse during slow periods
• On-call not mandatory but helpful

• Active AK RN license required prior to start, may apply prior to license activation
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required, 5+ years preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must complete fingerprinting through the Alaska Department of Health and Services within 48 hours of offer acceptance

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting
• Free private 1-bedroom housing available, pet units not offered
• Optional housing allowance available for candidates who choose not to use provided housing
• Vehicle recommended for transportation, as walking during winter is not advised
• Flu vaccination required starting in late October, with religious and medical exemptions reviewed
