Long established entity is seeking talented FOH and BOH staff to assist in reopening with a new way of operating in this post Covid world. We are looking for candidates that are open to embracing changes to the status quo and helping on developing a new service model.

Responsibilities- Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed. Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.
- Properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
- Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
- Following directions and maintain company standards as set by policy and Alaska DEC.
- Gave an Alaska Food Handler’s card
- Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the supervisor as needed.
- Assists in washing of kegs and other cleaning as requested.
- Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks
The job involves constant movement and physical activity while on the clock. Workers must be able to operate different machines and know the proper specifications needed to sterilize restaurant utensils. Must be aware of basic sanitary guidelines and work to maintain them. Due to the physical nature of the job, you should be comfortable routinely lifting large loads and equipment. Standing and walking on concrete floors for extended periods of time.
RequirementsThis Position Requires:
- Minimum age required (18 years).
- Must be able to balance multiple activities with an attention to detail in a safe manner.
- High school graduation (or equivalent) and at least one year of food service / hospitality experience.
- Candidates must have the ability to handle multiple tasks occurring at the same time.
- A current “Food Handler’s Card”, reliable transportation, well groomed appearance and good hygiene
Employees are regularly required to stand for long periods of time, use hands, reach with hands and arms, taste, and smell. The employee is frequently required to walk, talk, or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit or stoop. The employee must regularly lift up to 50lbs. Specific vision required include close vision, depth, color vision, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat and cold non-weather as well as moving mechanical parts. The employee must have the physical stamina to work on 8 to 10 hour shifts for extended periods of time.
