Electrical Engineer
Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000 DOE + Robust Benefits
Location: Fairborn, OH

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems.
- Conduct detailed electrical analysis, simulations, and modeling.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve electrical system performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate electrical systems into manufacturing processes.
- Ensure electrical designs comply with industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, IEC) and company guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, applying corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Identify and implement cost‑effective solutions for system upgrades, retrofits, and new installations.
- Provide technical leadership and training to junior engineers and staff.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost‑benefit analyses for electrical systems in capital investment projects.
- Leverage emerging technologies such as IoT, automation, and smart grids to enhance electrical infrastructure.
- Engage with customers to understand user requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support or perform schematic design, parts selection, analysis, simulation, and schematic capture for control and power electronics.
- Perform board layout using tools like OrCAD PCB Editor and support board procurement in regulated environments.
- Build and test prototype products, managing the full development cycle.
- Design system architecture, including cables and buswork, and perform system integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 4+ years of experience designing and implementing electrical systems in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP), PLC programming, and power distribution systems.
- Experience with schematic design, analysis, simulation, and board layout.
- Strong troubleshooting and failure analysis skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MS Office, and data analysis tools.
- Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively and work with business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and influential skills.
- Availability for travel to customer locations as required; estimated at up to 50% - client dependent.
