Substitute Teacher role at Landmark Christian School. Substitutes will need to submit an application for employment. Once reviewed, an interview will be scheduled with a Principal or Assistant Principal. They will notify the HR department if they want to offer a substitute position. HR will send onboarding information after the background check is authorized and completed. After onboarding, substitutes will be entered in the Frontline system and receive an email to activate their Frontline account and download the Frontline Education app.

- Accept substitute requests via email or the Frontline app; each notice lists the teacher, date, hours, and grade/subject area.
- Understand job assignments and ensure coverage as scheduled; some roles may cover Teacher Assistant duties in Elementary or Middle School; electives may be a mix of middle and high school.
- Log in to Frontline and, if schedule changes are needed, release the job promptly and notify the substitute coordinator if within 24 hours of the job date.
- Adhere to school-specific check-in procedures by campus (Elementary, Middle, High School) and perform duties as assigned (morning duties, classroom coverage, lunch, dismissal, etc.).
- Dress and personal appearance should follow the school’s dress code; maintain professional conduct during school hours.
- Frontline account activation will deliver substitute requests; page and app usage are required to accept appropriate jobs.
- Check class times carefully; some jobs may be half days or specific class periods.
- Emergency procedures and school contacts are provided for classroom support as needed.
- Substitutes should dress professionally; no hats or head coverings inside the building.
- Women: business casual attire; appropriate skirts, dresses, slacks, blouses; refer to policy for length and coverage of certain outfits.
- Men: business casual attire; dress shirts and slacks; denim jeans allowed only on Spirit Dress Fridays.
- PE attire: leggings with shorts or athletic wear; appropriate footwear and shirts.
- Piercings, hair color, tattoos, and tobacco-free policies are addressed; follow handbook guidelines.
- Do not come to school if sick; notify Frontline Manager if you are unavailable; stay home with fever or contagious illness; follow nurse guidance if exposed to contagious infections.
- Full Day pay: $100 (4.5-8 hours per day);
Half Day pay: $50 (4 hours or fewer). - Paychecks are mailed on the 15th and last day of each month; payroll cutoffs apply and may affect timing of pay.
