Position:
General Manager I - Distribution at DHL Supply Chain (Fairburn, GA). Salary range: $120,000 - $151,000.

As a General Manager at DHL Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouses.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed while developing a strong team culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee operational and personnel activities to maintain a safe, clean, efficient working environment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), automation and other technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost‑effective services and supplies while managing the site in accordance with the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead customer relationships by maintaining close daily contact to ensure strong connections and customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site's profit and loss (P & L), which is directly influenced by customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Review (M /Q ) to customer, leveraging strong team collaboration.

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics.
• Staff management experience.
• P & L management experience.
• Project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience.
