JOB SUMMARY:
A well-established company with a dominant market share in their industry and a positive work environment is seeking a Controls Technician for the day shift (7:00am — 3:30pm, Monday to Friday) in the Fairburn, GA area. The primary responsibilities of the Controls Technician include involvement in cell design, integrating controls, installing automated equipment, building PLC panels, programming them, and ensuring their proper functioning.
This role also entails configuring, testing, maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting controls and automated systems used in production. The position offers an attractive hourly rate with overtime paid at time and a half, as well as comprehensive company benefits and a matching 401K plan.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting
- Experience in panel building and electrical work
- Knowledge of safety circuit integration and some exposure to robotics
