The Fairburn campus of Georgia Military College is accepting applications for the position of Part‑Time Bookstore Associate. The bookstore conducts a book‑rental program which requires detailed record keeping. Duties include checking out and receiving books through the POS system, daily cashier duties, maintaining store inventory, cleaning, organizing and restocking supplies, and assisting students in numerous ways. The bookstore often serves as an extension of other offices on campus, providing answers to frequently asked questions and providing contact information for other administrative areas.

This position requires extended periods of standing and reaching over head to retrieve books and serve students. It also requires the ability to use a step ladder and to lift at least 20 pounds.

It is an hourly position, with pay commensurate with experience and educational background. Part‑time positions at GMC start at $10.25 per hour.
